MEPOL currently has the following positions open throughout the state of Louisiana. Please see the description and application information below. Field Agent – Baton Rouge and New Orleans
MEPOL currently has two opening for field agents in the Baton Rouge and Greater New Orleans areas. Major responsibilities include business and technical consulting with small to medium sized manufacturers to plan and facilitate process improvements, assess the businesses needs, assemble resources to solve problems and implement proposed solutions. Other duties include: Manage client projects Promote and sell MEPOL services to Louisiana manufacturers Develop relationships with client companies and third-party consultants Develop relationships with state agencies and organizations
Qualifications and background experience required include: A Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical field is required with industrial experience Broad-based background in manufacturing processes Strong lean manufacturing background is preferred Strong sales and business experience is preferred Demonstrated management skills Strong presentation, organization, oral and written communication skills

Hebert Honored with National MEP Award
The Grand Ballroom of the Marriott World Center in Orlando was the stage for Cecile Hebert, marketing coordinator for the Manufacturing Extension Partnership of Louisiana (MEPOL), to garner a national award at the MEP National Conference, held April 26-30, 2008.
Hebert took home the Newcomer of the Year Award out of a pool of 16 nominees from across the United States. This is the second year in a row a MEPOL employee has received this prestigious award.
