This 2006 information is from data gathered by the National MEP system.  One year after our client's projects are completed an independent survey is completed to assess the impact from our implementations.

THE ROLE OF MEPOL

Our professional manufacturing staff has years of experiences to assess your internal process and information flow. The role of our staff is to assure positive impact to your organization utilizing our skills as mentor, facilitator, matchmaker, and diagnostician. This process includes educating, encouraging, and empowering your organization to build an environment of excellence.

Our project director begins with the initial visit to learn more about your operation. One tool that is used is called the Discovery Process Assessment. This instrument provides key questions regarding your complete operation to facilitate the plant tour at your facility.  After this evaluation process is completed, MEPOL will identify solutions to increase your profitability and productivity. Your organization will receive a written report stating our recommendations, which provides a roadmap for success.

After each project is completed, a brief survey is answered.  Our rating is a 4.8 on a scale from 1 to 5 with 5 being the highest score. One year after the completion of the project, an independent survey collects the significant impact. We have an 80% client repeat rate due to our premier consulting services.

In 2004, we were honored to have received the Lantern Organization Award from the Louisiana Department of Economic Development. The awards were presented at a ceremony held May 27 in the Governor’s Mansion.  In addition to MEPOL, 11 other businesses received awards. The Lantern Award winners were chosen based on their company’s success, as well as their contributions to the economy of the entire community and the quality of life for all Louisianans.

On June 14, 2005, MEPOL was the recipient of the Achievement in Performance Excellence Award. As a MEP/NIST center, MEPOL is reviewed annually by the same criteria as the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award. Michael Olivier, secretary of Economic Development, presented the award at the Governor's Mansion.
